On September 17. and 18. the EMByAM consortium met in Ghent for the 2024 project meeting. In total 23 participants from Belgium, Germany, Czech Republic, United Kingdom and Finland took part in the two-day event. On the first day the doctoral candidates presented their research, achievements and experiences during their first year in the project. The first day concluded with a nice boat trip and dinner in the city centre of Ghent.
On the second day the supervisors from academia and industry gave some updates and future plans for the project were discussed. Next year’s meeting will take place in Prague.
In the two days following the project meeting the doctoral candidates took part in the workshops of Ghent University and DANA Belgium.
