Leibniz University Hannover
Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz University Hannover, also known as the University of Hannover, is a public research university located in Hanover, Germany. The Institute of Drive Systems and Power Electronics comprises 4 Professors, 2 Senior Engineers (= Doctors), ca. 60 research associates (Ph.D. students), and 10 non‐scientific staff.
Ghent University
Today Ghent University attracts over 48,000 students, with a foreign student population of about 10% (40% of PhD students). In 2019, the university invested over 275 million Euros in research projects on behalf of public and private partners, and employed around 8200 research staff (including doctoral researchers). In the H2020-framework, UGent hosted 38 MSCA fellowships and 62 ITN projects (coordinator in 9 projects).
IT CAS
The Institute was established in 1953 as the Laboratory of Mechanical Engineering of the Czechoslovak Academy of Sciences (CAS). In 2006, the Institute merged with the Institute of Electrical Engineering, which was also established in 1953.
University of Nottingham
The Power Electronics, Machines and Control (PEMC) Research Group from UoN is internationally renowned and one of the largest on its field. It moved location to the PEMCentre on Jubilee Campus in March 2021 – a big move after occupying the iconic Tower Building on University Park for many years.

It was founded in 2015 as a spin-out from University of Nottingham’s Centre for Additive Manufacturing (CFAM), by five Professors looking to support AM vendors and AM users elevate their product functionality and bring new and innovative 3D printing solutions to the market by removing the technological barriers to adoption and de-risking project lifecycles.
